As someone who doesn't work in retail, I don't care one way or the other if the stores are open on Thanksgiving. Obviously a lot of people like to shop that day, but I'm sure there are many folks who would rather not be working.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Thanksgiving could turn into a full shopping day this year. We probably won't hear any big announcements about it for a couple of weeks, but experts say we shouldn't be surprised to see stores open all day--or at the very least--earlier than last year.

Chances are I won't be doing any shopping on Thanksgiving Day. I'll be enjoying my time with family. Unless they insist we all go shopping together. I might be talked into an hour or two of checking out the deals. It will be good exercise after the pie, right? Either way, if you want to shop, then shop. I'm not here to judge.

I am, however, curious. Will you go shopping on Thanksgiving?
