Police Shooting Happened In My Back Yard!

A suspect was shot and killed by Burnsville Police Thursday morning.

Officers responded to suspicious activity at the McDonalds off 13 and Washburn around 6:15 am. Once they arrived, they spotted a man holding a weapon. Police fired and killed the man.

No officers were harmed.

Burnsville Police Chief Eric Gieseke said the city hasn’t had a fatal officer-involved shooting in 35 years.
