St. Cloud Police Looking for People Involved in Hit and Run Crash

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Police Department is looking for a driver and a backseat passenger who fled the scene of a hit and run crash.

The incident took place today (Friday) shortly after 2:00 p.m. on 17th Street South just before Cooper Avenue South.

A car driven by an unknown man was going eastbound on 17th Street South, approaching the intersection when it rear-ended another car going eastbound.

The driver and the backseat passenger of the striking car fled the scene on foot.

A second passenger from the striking car, a 30-year-old man from St. Cloud was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two of the people in the car that were hit, were not hurt.
