Reports are circulating this morning that Central Michigan coach PJ Fleck has been hired as the next head football coach at the University of Minnesota. A press conference officially announcing the news is expected this afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium.

Fleck has reportedly agreed to a six year deal worth more than $20 Million. He had been head coach at Western Michigan, where his team earned a #15 national ranking this year, going undefeated during the regular season -- before losing to Wisconsin in the Cotton Bowl.

Fleck will take over for the fired Tracy Claeys who was dismissed on Tuesday
