Pistol Annies Sign A Record Deal

Miranda Lambert is known for doing things her way instead of following what others do, and Pistol Annies is no exception.

There aren't many artists out there that start a solo career, find great success, then decide to put a group together. It's usually the opposite - be successful in a group, then get a solo career. To each their own I guess, and Miranda now has a record deal with her female pals.

The band is called Pistol Annies and includes Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley. They have partnered with Miranda's label Columbia Nashville.

Miranda has assured fans that her solo career will not go to the wayside, she is currently working on her next album that she hopes to release late this year.

Starting tomorrow (June 28th) Pistol Annies first single 'Hell on Heels' will be available for digital download.

I think it's awesome that she's doing this, I can't wait to hear more!
