Today is day #10 of my 30-day 'Sugar-Free Challenge' (no sugar, no sweeteners, no simple, starchy carbs, no alcohol) following my viewing of the movie 'Fed Up' a couple of weeks ago. I finally feel like some cravings are going away, and I've stopped feeling hungry all the time.

For the first week or so, no matter how much I ate my brain felt hungry -- even if my stomach was full. I think my brain was trying to tell me, "Hey that's not real food in your stomach, those are just vegetables. We need sugar, grease, junk food, and good stuff like that."

Anyway, I've gotten over that hump for the most part -- and things that seemed bland and unappealing a week ago, now taste pretty good. I guess I'm just starting to get used to things.

Day ten. Double digits.Twenty days to go. Now I'm wondering how much of this I will stay with after the thirty days. It's been pretty eye-opening. We'll see.
