Pet Patrol: Meet Sydney + Smokey

Meet Sydney and Smokey at the Tri-County Humane Society.

Sydney has been waiting for a place to call home for over three months. She is four years old and is spayed. Sydney was surrendered to the shelter because her owner had to move. She has an affectionate personality, but like many felines, is shy around new dogs and cats. She lived with children and enjoyed their attention. You can visit Sydney at the adoption center in PetSmart. She qualifies for our “Name Your Price” cat sale .

Smokey is a neutered 5 year old Chocolate Lab mix. When Smokey was a puppy, he had something lodged in his throat, so he had neck and esophageal surgery. This is why he sometimes looks like he’s cocking his head, but he’s just fine now. In his previous home, he lived with another dog and they were the best of friends. Smokey walks well on a leash and prefers nature trails to sidewalks. He often carries around a tennis ball just in case the opportunity of a game of catch and fetch presents itself – he wants to be ready!
