Pet Patrol: Meet Stewy And Jack Sparrow
Meet Stewy and Jack Sparrow at the Tri-County Humane Society.
Stewy is a 9 year old Beagle mix.
He’s a happy-go-lucky boy with a tail that is almost never stops wagging.
Stewy would be an easy dog to spoil rotten – he’s so appreciative of any attention or gesture of kindness.
Stewy spent some time in foster care after he had some lumps removed. For them he was house trained and sat by the door when he needed to go outside.
Once outside, it took him about 15-20 minutes to find just the right spot to do his job. That said - a fenced yard might come in handy.
Toys are not his thing, but he loves soft treats and laps.
Meet Jack Sparrow.
Jack Sparrow is a 1 ½ year old neutered and declawed cat. He came in because he didn’t get along with the other cat.
With people, he’s described as having a friendly, affectionate and playful personality. Jack will even rub on your face and give you "kitty kisses" to show his affection.
He had lots of fun playing with the 11 year old and all of their combined toys in his previous home.
He’s cautious around dogs at first, but in time he thinks they’re okay to play with too.
Jack isn’t crazy about being held, but he enjoys being pet.
Every morning he would get a little spoon of moist food as a treat.
When he hears his full name, Jack Sparrow, he knows he’s in trouble.
