Meet Poppy.

Poppy is a 4 year old neutered Chihuahua mix.

He came to the shelter because he can be naughty when he’s left alone too long.

It would be ideal if he could go to a home with people who are home a good portion of the day.

Poppy was around children of all ages and he got along great with them. He has been friendly with dogs as well as with cats but can be excitable and play rambunctiously with both canine and feline friends.

Poppy is housetrained and does best when kept on a schedule.

He’s a very affectionate dog and loved to sit on laps and play with squeaky toys.

Meet Ace.

Ace is a 6 year old neutered and declawed cat who came to the shelter because he’s rather independent and didn’t care to be held.

With that said, he’s not the best candidate for a home with little children who usually want to pick kitties up.

Ace enjoyed chasing a laser pointer as well as playing in empty cardboard boxes.

If an independent yet playful cat sounds right for your home, then stop by the shelter to meet Ace.

He qualifies for the ‘Name Your Own Price’ promotion and would also be free to a senior citizen or someone who has been in the military.
