Meet Lucy.

Lucy is a 3 ½ year old spayed Beagle and Hound mix.

She came to the shelter because her owner didn’t have enough time to care for her.

Lucy was friendly with other dogs as well as with cats in her previous home. She was fine with children but does best with children who are old enough to know not to climb and hang on her.

She’s not the kind of dog who likes to wrestle and play rough.

She does however like to play fetch and tug.

True to her hound roots, Lucy tends to follow her nose and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard.

Meet Greta.

Greta is a 5 year old spayed cat who came to the shelter because her owner had too many cats.  She got along with the other cats she came in with, who have since been adopted.

Greta interacted nicely with children as well as with a small dog during her stay in foster care.

While she loves attention and enjoys being pet, she doesn’t care to be picked up. She’ll come find you when it’s time to get that chin scratched.

A cat tower would be a terrific piece of kitty furniture for Greta as she likes to watch from above and have her own little private napping area.

Greta qualifies for the ‘Name Your Own Price’ promotion and would also be free to a senior citizen or someone who has been in the military.
