Meet Lena.

Lena is a spayed 7 year old English Cocker Spaniel.

Lena came to the shelter because the child in the home was learning how to crawl and Lena was not a fan of grabby, inquisitive children coming toward her.

Older children, cats and other calm dogs never concerned her though.

Lena is described as a social little dog who really enjoys being around people.

She’s used to being kenneled when left home alone.

At night she’ll sleep in bed with you, but be warned, she can be a bit of a bed hog.

Meet Chubbs.

Chubbs is a neutered 1.5 year old cat who was brought in with his buddy Ray-Ray because they were afraid of the dog.

They were around children of all ages and got along well with them.

Chubbs has a mellow personality and enjoyed lounging around with his people and snuggling with Ray-Ray.

If something moving catches his eye, he’s checking it out.

That’s probably why he’s such a good mouser.

So if you live in a dog-free household and would like it also to be a mouse-free household, Chubbs and Ray-Ray are at your service!
