Pet Patrol: Meet Baxter + Tuxida

Meet Baxter and Tuxida. Two adorable fur babies waiting for you at the Tri-County Humane Society.

Baxter has been patiently waiting to find his perfect home for a month now.

This neutered 3 ½ year old German Shepherd mix came to the Tri-County Humane Society as a transfer from a rescue group in northern Minnesota. Baxter has a very loving and affectionate personality.

He is known to be a “leg leaner” until you bend over and give him some love. Given that Baxter is approximately 80 pounds, he would benefit from an environment with plenty of space for a big dog.

He has been doing a wonderful job at keeping his kennel clean and also walks nicely on a leash. Baxter has a big heart and is willing to give it to you today!

Tuxida and her tiny kittens were found by someone who was unable to keep or care for them. She just came back from raising her kittens in foster care and now she’s spayed and ready for a permanent home to call her own.

Even though she lived mainly outdoors in her previous home, Tuxida has taken quite nicely to an indoor lifestyle.

While in foster care, she utilized a scratch post on a daily basis. We believe that Tuxida would be most comfortable in a quiet atmosphere due to her sensitive nature.

She is 1 ½ year old and qualifies for the ‘Name Your Own Price’ promotion.
