The folks over at PBS have started doing some great auto-tuned video tributes to some of their stars from yesterday. Their first was released a few weeks back and featured some great moments with Mister Rogers. Now we get the "happy cloud" painter Bob Ross.

I was flipping through the channels last week and ran across an episode of Bob Ross' Joy of Painting. This immediately brought me back to my childhood. I remember working on the farm all morning, coming in for lunch in the hottest part of the day and enjoying some air conditioning while we waited for it to cool off outside so we could go back to work. Bob Ross was always on during the lunch time hours on Saturday and I would watch his show and try to fall asleep.

PBS has done a great job paying homage to the kooky artist and his happy clouds and happy trees.
