Eric And Charlotte Kaufman and their two young daughters took off on an adventure to sail around the world. But when one year old Lyra got sick, those plans changed.

Lyra wasn't responding to medication, the steering had gone out on the boat, and the only thing left to do was to call for help.

The California National Guard parachuted to the boat to help stabilize the young girl. They waited with the family until a Navy ship was able to reach them.You can read the full story here.

Everyone is fine, but this story has people all over the world arguing both sides.  Are the parents irresponsible for taking young children on a sailboat trip around the world, or are they awesome parents who have given their children the kind of life the rest of us wish we had?
