PAMELA PAYS TRIBUTE TO PRINCE IN HER NEW ORIGINAL SONG

One of my favorite local performers, the very talented Pamela McNeill, wrote a song the week following Prince's death.  The song was written about  how people came together after seeing a "Rainbow across the sky" over Paisley Park the night of his death.

A friend sent me a link to the video yesterday and I had to share it with you.  You can get free access to Pam's new video and song through April 27th by clicking HERE to enter her website.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG

Pamela recorded the song, entitled, “The Bigger Picture” in Nashville this fall. She was listening to the radio when she heard about Prince’s death. She then drove to First Avenue where people were starting to gather in the rain.

according to a statement posted on her website pamelamcneill.com, Pamela said,
“I'm so glad I had that moment to just feel the quiet, profound ache. We were all in shock. It still seems unreal. But what a tribute to Prince.”
She says, "The song is sort of spiritual, but in my heart of hearts, I'd like to believe Prince would approve of the message.”
