Our Veteran of the Month Challenges You To A Chili Cook-Off!

Our "Veteran of the Month" is Nick Garland! Not only did Nick serve our country, but he continues to serve and to help other Veterans. Nick is the president of the SCSU Veterans Organization, and he asked us to get the word out about their upcoming Chili Cook-Off!

They are looking for the best dang chili cooks in the region. If you think you've got what it takes, you can register by emailing scsusvo@gmail.com.

If you prefer to just eat all this great chili, that's okay too! Here are the details:

The SCSU Student Veterans Organization's Inaugural Chili Cook-Off is Saturday, February 16th at the VFW Post 428 in St. Cloud!

Contestants: Arrive at 10:30 to get that award winning chili ready to serve! There will be prizes for the HOTTEST and for the TASTIEST!

The Public:  Sampling and voting is from 11-1. Just $5 to get in the door and lots of chili to taste!  Plus, from 1-3 you pay just 2 bucks for a bowl of chili!
