I was a little skeptical about this article when I first started reading it but after actually reading, I see what the author is saying.

I'm just as guilty as the next person -- I check my phone constantly.  It's my lifeline, I have everything I need right there at my fingertips.  I don't need a computer because that's what I've got in a much more compact size.

Elite Daily revealed five ways that our obsession with our phones is putting a huge damper on our relationships.  One of the reasons is we're now easily allowed to judge somebody before we ever get to know them.  I might be in the minority but I can promise you're not going to learn everything about me from my Facebook profile.  Sure, you'll find out what kind of music I like and my favorite movies.  You might even find out my political beliefs but it really doesn't say one thing about who I am as a person.

If you ask me, it's really sad.  Sad that a phone has become such a center of our world.  I think there are many benefits to having a smart phone, but we all need to be more diligent about not having them with us 24/7.  We're missing out a lot of things we may never get the chance to enjoy again.
