This isn't the first time Oprah has graced the silver screen, but it has been 14 years since her last movie role. Now she has been offered the chance to brush off the cob webs and join the cast of the upcoming move 'The Butler'.

The film is based around the life of the White House's head butler Eugene Allen. Allen will be portrayed by Forest Whitaker and Oprah will be playing his wife. Oprah's last movie gig was producing and starring in the movie 'Beloved' back in 1998 and since then has lent her voice to 'The Princess and the Frog' and 'Bee Movie'.

I'm a huge Oprah fan, and though I wish I was tell you she is bringing her talk show back, I'm almost as excited about the upcoming movie. Because let's be honest, the Own Network really isn't that great, so it's about time we get some exciting Oprah news.
