Nine Run Eighth Leads Twins To 16-3 Rout Of ChiSox

The Minnesota Twins (50-60) erupted for nine runs in the eighth inning to break open a tight game on the way to a 16-3 win over the White Sox (54-58) in Chicago this afternoon. The Twins scored 32 runs in the 3-game series, taking 2 of 3 from the Sox.

After an off day tomorrow, the Twins are back at Target Field for a quick two-game series Tuesday & Wednesday against the San Diego Padres before heading back out on the road late in the week.
