The question of whether or not Adrian Peterson will return to the Minnesota Vikings remains unanswered as the NFL says it will throughly review his case under the league's Player Conduct Policy -- deciding whether further league-imposed fines or suspensions will be handed out.

For the time being Peterson will remain on the Commissioner's Exempt List, leaving his return to the team in limbo. Once the NFL has made a decision, it will then be up to the Vikings to decide if they want to return him to their roster -- essentially saying that he could be back in time for the November 16th game at Chicago; or not at all. All scenarios are still possible.

While his odds of return have increased with the end of his legal case, we still really don't know any more than we did two months ago regarding his return as a Minnesota Viking.

In other Adrian Peterson news: Nike announced Friday that they have officially terminated their sponsorship agreement with the running back.

Next up for the Vikings: vs. the Bears at Chicago on Sunday, November 16th.
