A few months ago I jokingly cracked an egg on the sidewalk when it reached 60 degrees outside in Minnesota because everyone was talking about how hot out it was.

Well, my experiment didn't really work...but in Arizona, it really is that hot! A news crew wanted to test out whether they could bake cookies in a hot car.

It worked! The crew put the cookies on a pan in the car around 1:30 p.m. At 5:45 p.m. they had perfectly baked cookies...from the car. They all ate the cookies and said they were good. Now, you probably don't want to wait that long for a batch of cookies, but what a neat experiment.

This is a good reminder not to leave your children or pets in your car unattended and always double and triple check your back seat before you leave your vehicle.
