It's possible the best country album of 2016 will be released in May. Superstars like Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton are all bringing new music to fans. There's over a half-dozen major releases to tempt you this spring.

Urban's Ripcord drops on May 6, the same day as Cole Swindell's You Should Be Here and Cyndi Lauper's Detour. Lauper is a country newbie, but she's introducing herself to country fans with a project of country covers. Diverse is how you can describe this album, and many more ready to hit stores and digital retailers in May.

Jennifer Nettles' Playing With Fire and Blake Shelton's If I'm Honest are two that come later in the month (May 13 and May 20, respectively). Then on May 27, ACM co-host and country superstar Bentley reveals Black to fans. It's a dark album that focuses on love lost and found. After the Riser album shot the Arizona kid to new heights in 2014, fans are eager to see where he's headed next.
