ST. CLOUD - Another new choice in locally brewed beer is coming to the Granite City. The St. Cloud City Council Monday night approved a request to amend a Planned Unit Development to allow "Pantown Brewing Company" to start operating.

They'll be located at 408 37th Avenue North in a building that's currently being used as a coffee bean shop. No expansion of the existing buildings is planned.

The brewery and taproom would produce about 350 barrels annually. There will be three employees on the largest work shift. Pantown Brewing Company will have their tap room open to the public from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

It is not clear yet when they expect to be open for business.
