My Top Six Favorite Things From 2015

I'm going to channel my inner Oprah for a moment.  Each year Oprah shares her favorite...well, favorite everything. Everything from hoodies to grills to pants.  You name it and she's got a favorite.  I'm totally inspired so I'm going to share a few, yes just a few, of my favorite things from this year.

Jimmy's Pourhouse French Fries

French fries from Jimmy's Pourhouse pretty much carries over from year to year. I LOVE them! They're perfectly cut, they're not too greasy and they're just amazingly delicious!

Kaycee

Yeah, okay Kaycee is a given as far as favorites go so we'll call this my favorite picture of her in 2015. I mean look at that face all snuggled up with Lamb Chop! How could I not pick that as a favorite?

Christmas Wreath

Each year, my family and I put up a wreath on my grandparent's grave. For the last couple years we've struggled to find ones that nicely decorated and last year we tried to decorate our own, which actually turned out pretty good. This year my mom and I discovered the 101 Market in Otsego. They have a little of everything and it's huge!

This photo cracks me up and it's actually the second time I've seen this in Monticello. If you look closely at the van you'll see what appears to be a creature with it's arm out the window. That's actually a huge Saint Bernard. I had to do a double take and then take a picture because that's just funny!

Dessert

I would have told you there is no way to replace my love of chocolate cake and there really isn't but this apple crisp comes pretty close. I love the brown sugary crumbly top. If you need a good recipe, give this one a whirl!

Cup

Okay, so you're probably wondering what's so special about this cup and the answer is nothing, other than I got it for $5 at Shopko, I love what it says and it does an awesome job of keeping my water cold. Yeah, it's awesome!
