I was at my mom's house over the weekend and she told me that she has been noticing a lot more spiders outside and inside of the house.

She thinks the cooler temperatures are confusing the bugs into thinking it's time to find a warm home for the winter.

She mentioned that when she was hanging laundry outside she saw what she described as a "tarantula" on one of the clothes pins. I didn't believe her at first until she told me that my dad and sister both witnessed it. My mom said the spider was furry and had white stripes on its black furry body.

I looked it up, and Minnesota doesn't have tarantulas. But, we do have something that looks similar to one. It's called a wolf spider. Don't Google it unless you want nightmares.

Since then, I've also been noticing more spiders inside of my home and at the radio station. One of my co-workers killed a giant spider in the break room at work today.

What's going on? Are you also noticing more creepy crawlers lately?
