All this talk of time capsules has me reminiscing about a time capsule my class first grade class did.

Yesterday the oldest known time capsule was opened and contained all kinds of cool things like old newspapers and coins, a plaque engraved by Paul Revere and so many other incredible historical artifacts.   Being able to see all those items would be a pretty amazing history lesson if you ask me.

I spent part of my elementary school years in Minnetonka and I'm pretty sure it was in my first grade class that we put together a time capsule.  It was an assignment where we wrote a letter to ourselves and talked about what we were learning and the things that were going on at the time.  I'm not sure when it was supposed to be dug up but I'd sure like to know what I wrote myself.

Did you ever put anything in a time capsule?  What was it?
