They wildly whip around the curves of a brutal track as the dirt flies and your heart is beating so hard it feels like it will escape your chest, they have no concerns for anything but a win - it's the exhilarating sport of.....lawnmower racing?! You bet it is and it's coming this Saturday to the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge.

The Cambridge Lions Club is hosting the Mowdown & Showdown Lawnmower Races
at the Isanti County Fair Grounds Grandstand on Saturday, May 19th.

Gates will open at 11:30 and Hot Laps start at 12:00 noon. The race, that you’ve got to see to believe, starts at 1pm.

Admission: Adult $6.00,Child (ages 4-13)  $4.00, kids 3 and under free.
Parking is free and concessions will be available.

Please bring non-perishable food donations for the Food Shelf for a 50 cents discount per person donating food items.

This event is sanctioned by the MNLMRA (Minnesota Lawn Mower Racing Association).

Proceeds will go to food shelves and other community needs.
