Montreal downed the Minnesota Wild 5-4 in an overtime shootout Thursday night.  Matt Kassian scored 2 goals for the Wild, Devin Setoguchi added a goal and an assist but fell on his attempted shootout goal.  Dany Heatley added a goal and Nick Johnson had 3 assists for the Wild.  Niklas Backstrom left the game early with a knee injury and was replaced by Josh Harding.  Harding had 19 saves.

Minnesota will play at Detroit at 6:30 tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:05.

The Wild signed prospect Charlie Coyle to a 3-year entry level contract Thursday.  Coyle will continue playing for St. John Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
