The Minnesota Department of Transportation has issued a 'No Travel Advisory' for parts of southern Minnesota for tonight through tomorrow due to expected blizzard conditions. A Blizzard Warning has been issued, and hazardous road conditions with severely reduced visibilities are expected.

The advisory includes the following counties in Minnesota: Dodge, Freeborn, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona.

If you're heading to the area you should monitor MnDOT’s road conditions web site  for travel conditions overnight and early Friday. On the site, you can view road conditions, weather warnings, as well as images from snowplow and traffic cameras to get information to make good driving decisions.

Additionally, check MnDOT’s Twitter accounts in the region for immediate updates at @mndotsoutheast@mndotscentral and @mndotnews.
