Minnesota native Bob Dylan has won the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature. It's the first time a musician has won the award. The Noble Prizes will be handed out on December 10th in Stockholm, Sweden.

Dylan was born in Duluth in 1941. His family moved to Hibbing when he was six, and at the age of 17 he made the move to Minneapolis. 1960 Dylan packed his bags and headed for New York.
