Miranda Lambert has her second career win as Female Vocalist of the Year, this time at 2011 CMA Awards.

Dressed in a sparkling purple gown, Lambert glowed as she told the audience she didn’t expect the award, especially in light of the awards she received at the 2010 CMA Awards ceremony. Last year, a tearful Lambert won Female Vocalist and Album of the Year for ‘Revolution’ and Song and Video of the Year for her single ‘The House That Built Me.’

At this year’s CMA Awards, Lambert was more relaxed and jubilant as she thanked the audience and gave a shout out to her Male Vocalist of the Year award winning husband. As Lambert exclaimed, “Congratulations to my hubby too!” cameras panned to a grinning Blake Shelton, who was rubbing his hands together with an expression of glee.

In accepting the award, Lambert also said she was no more deserving than the other nominees that included Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, and Carrie Underwood.
