There's an email scam going around that you need to be aware of. I was sent the suspect email yesterday and luckily I didn't open it.

The email looks pretty legitimate too. It appears like someone is sending you a Google Doc. But, beware, if you click on the link you are opening yourself up to hackers. The phishing scam could potentially gain access to your entire email account and send out emails to other people on your behalf.

Here's what you need to do in order to protect yourself if you get a suspect email from hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh@mailinator[.]com.

  • Don't click on the Google Doc
  • Delete the email immediately
  • Let your IT person know you've been sent the phishing scam
