The Minnesota Wild (49-25-8) beat the Arizona Coyotes (30-42-1-) 3-1 last night in Phoenix. After a rough March, the Wild ended the regular season by winning 5 in a row, and set a season record for the team ending with 106 points.

Finishing second in the Central Division behind Chicago, the Wild also earned the over #2 seed in the Western Conference. Minnesota will have home ice advantage against former Wild head coach Mike Yeo and the St. Louis Blues in the first round of the playoffs beginning later this week.
