The Minnesota Wild (44-22-6) beat the San Jose Sharks (42-24-7) 3-2 last night in St. Paul. The win snaps a season worst five-game losing streak for Minnesota. The Wild sit in second place in the Central Division, six points behind Chicago.

The Wild have ten games remaining on their regular season schedule, with six of those to be played at the Xcel Energy Center. Chicago is one of four teams to have clinched a playoff spot, along with Washington, Columbus, and Pittsburgh.
