The Minnesota Wild (12-5-2) dominated Vancouver Thursday night, picking up a 6-2 win over the Canucks at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Charlie Coyle (3) got things started with a first period goal, followed by one from Mikko Koivu (4) to give the Wild a 2-0 lead after the first period. Minnesota added three more in the second from Nino Niederreiter (2), Eric Staal (6), and Matt Dumba (7) to put the Wild up 5-1 heading into the third.

Jason Zucker (6) opened the scoring in the third period followed by a goal for the Canucks -- and Minnesota gets the 6-2 win.

The Wild out-shot the Canucks 29-27, with Devan Dubnyk making 25 saves for Minnesota.
