Minnesota Wild Lose Game 2 Nail-biter to St. Louis

The Minnesota Wild find themselves in an 0-2 series deficit after losing to the St. Louis Blues 2-1 last night at the Xcel Energy Center. It appeared the Wild had scored just as the clock expired in the third period, but further review showed that the clock had already run out.

Is the season over for the Wild? Not exactly, but it's close. According to the NHL, teams that go up 2-0 in a best-of-seven #StanleyCup Playoffs series hold an all-time series record of 293-48 (85.9%).

The Wild and Blues will play game-three of their best-of-seven series tomorrow afternoon (4/16) in St. Louis. The game will be televised nationally on NBC, and can be heard on AM 1240 WJON.
