The St. Louis Blues beat the Minnesota Wild 2-1 Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild fall to 42-16-6 with the loss.

Mikko Koivu scored the Wild's only goal of the game with just over ten seconds left in the first period on a fluttering shot from center ice. The Wild outshot St. Louis 33-20 in the loss.

Minnesota hits the road for a pair of games in Florida, beginning Thursday night at Tampa Bay before a game against the Florida Panthers Friday.
