The Minnesota Wild (38-13-6) beat the Dallas Stars (22-27-10) 3-1 last night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The Wild have now won eight consecutive games following a loss this season.

Minnesota's 82 points remains the best in the Western Conference, and just two behind the NHL best Washington Capitals (84) who have played one more game than the Wild.
