The Minnesota Twins have released right-hander Brandon Poulson, 26. (Who pitched at 100mph)

Nine other players have also been released.

Poulson signed with the Minnesota Twins back in July of 2004, with an agreement for 250,000$. He was also featured on NBC Nightly News.

He has since now signed with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the independent Atlantic League.

The Minnesota Twins have always been known for making changes when they see fit. Sometimes, those changes aren't for the better of the team. In a statement, Twins assistant general manager Rob Antony said Poulson just didn't through enough strikes. Doesn't practice make perfect, though?
