Minnesota Twins in First Place (Yep, Not a Typo)
A year ago today the Minnesota Twins were in last place with a record of 8-20. This morning the Twins wake up sitting in the top spot in the Central Division with a record of 15-12 following Joe Mauer's walk-off home run last night at Target Field against the Red Sox.

Sure it's early, and I'm not predicting World Series rings -- but I am enjoying watching these guys. Fun to watch, and maybe even more noticeable -- it looks like THEY'RE having fun.
It's a beautiful weekend for baseball, and the Twins have a pair of afternoon games to wrap up the three game series with Boston at Target Field. By the way, this will be the Red Sox only appearance in Minneapolis this season.
