Last week the northern Minnesota town of Remer proudly declared itself the official 'Home of Bigfoot,' saying that local stories and sightings of the creature have circulated for centuries -- with many feeling the woods that surround Remer to be the home to Bigfoot.

The Remer Chamber of Commerce made the announcement, saying that they are committed to gathering, preserving, and collecting -- all that is Bigfoot; creating a central location for a Bigfoot collection.
