Summer is in full swing, people are driving up to cabins, driving to activities and always have something planned. The Minnesota State Patrol posted on Facebook about the surge in distracted driving they have seen.

"Troopers stopped 102 motorists for driving distracted during two four-hour shifts last week. Think about that: More than 100 people were seen driving distracted over the course of eight hours." And those are just the ones that got caught. Texting, Tweeting, Snapchatting, and making plans can all wait until the car is safely parked. After all you want to be able to attend those future plans right? Don't drive distracted this weekend or ever. Arrive alive and have a safe and happy holiday weekend! And don't forget to wave to the State Troopers and other officers! They are out working over the holidays to make sure we all stay safe!
