Minnesota Ranked 2nd Best State To Experience Summer

It's not secret that it has been brutally hot the past few days. However, the hot temperatures didn't stop Thrillist from ranking Minnesota second on their list of states with the most pleasant summers!

The list was actually meant to highlight states with the most unpleasant summers. Minnesota got high marks for being a good place to experience the season. I'm just a little salty we weren't ranked number ONE! We've got 10,000 lakes for cryin' out loud! What on earth could be more summer than that?

Washington was ranked the best overall state to be in the summer. Minnesota was second ahead of Rhode Island.

The worst states in the summertime are mostly southern states; Mississippi, Louisiana, Arizona, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Texas, Florida, New Mexico and South Carolina.
