With so many new year's resolutions that involve getting in shape, it's a perfect time to mention that Minnesota is among the top 10 in the country, even though it's frigid right now.

Wallethub just released their annual report of the country's best, and worst, places to live if you want an active lifestyle. Minnesota made this list, and proves that even though we get crazy cold weather, we're not afraid to get out and stay active.

We didn't top the list, but we made it in the top 10 out of 100 cities in the U.S. based on over 30 key factors that included everything from fitness club fees, to neighborhood parks. Here's what cities made their top 10 list:

Source: WalletHub
  1. Chicago, IL
  2. Portland, OR
  3. San Francisco, CA
  4. San Diego, CA
  5. Seattle, WA
  6. Madison, WI
  7. New York, NY
  8. Denver, CO
  9. Boise, ID
  10. Minneapolis, MN

It's important to note that most of these cities are cold weather cities, which is opposite of what you'd think! If St. Cloud was one of the 100 cities surveyed, we'd probably score close to the top 10 since we seem to be the "gym capital of the world", sporting roughly 20 gyms in the area.
