Did you get a chance to catch the longest lunar eclipse of the century last night? July 2018's full moon was also a Blood Moon which means,

Driving into work this morning I saw a bright orange moon, but unfortunately the full eclipse wasn't visible in North America. Areas of Africa, the Middle East, southern Asia and the Indian Ocean all got the best view. Don't feel too bad about missing the eclipse, another sky phenomenon is happening on July 31st. Mars will be as closest to Earth as it has been since 2003, and will be super bright in the sky. It is called 'Mars at Opposition' and you can read all about it here.
