Today is Giving Tuesday, and according to a new report from the number crunchers at WalletHub -- Minnesota is the 'Most Charitable State' of 2018 (which comes to no surprise to us).

  • 2nd – % of Population Who Donated Time
  • 7th – % of Population Who Donated Money
  • 11th – % of Population Collecting/Distributing Food
  • 3rd – Volunteer Rate
  • 24th – Volunteer Hours per Capita

In order to determine the most philanthropic states, WalletHub compared the 50 states across two key dimensions, “Volunteering & Service” and “Charitable Giving.”
