Minnesota History Lesson — How Did Minnesota Get To Be Called Minnesota? [VIDEO]

On yesterday's date (May 11th) in 1858 Minnesota officially became the 32nd state.  I was perusing several articles on this topic but I found one that was particularly interesting.

A WCCO viewer posed the question of how Minnesota got it's name and there's a pretty interesting story behind it.  I knew it originated from Native Americans but I never knew what it meant until now.
