Minnesota: Dressing or Stuffing?

DO WE MAKE DRESSING OR STUFFING?

Dressing or stuffing...I know the difference. Stuffing is stuffed inside the turkey, and dressing is not...Am I correct? But it's sort of like the poTAYto poTAHto....We intertwine the two.

My question is, how traditional do you keep it? Do you still stuff your turkey because it's a family tradition? Or do you use dressing because you have more control over the turnout?

CAN YOU REALLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

If you served me stuffing or dressing, I wouldn't know the difference unless I saw you scoop it out of the bird...I'll take either but I guess I prefer dressing. I don't know why...I just do.
