Well, of course because Minnesota nice, right?

Time compiled a list of the friendliest cities in America and Minneapolis/St. Paul came in at #3.  They pointed out things such as the ways we entice visitors with things such as free attractions like the Institute of Arts and how the perceived  threat of danger is very low in the Twin Cities.

I think it's totally fitting that we made this list because I think most people are nice here. People wave to their neighbors, communities come together and I think there is a welcoming atmosphere around the state.  Whether you walk into a business or restaurant, people greet you with a smile.

Coming in at #1 was Nashville, which kind of surprised me.  I've never been but I know everyone says people there are super nice.  I just can't believe they beat out our Minnesota nice, ya know?

Other cities that made the list include Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Charleston, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, Albuquerque and Austin, TX.
