Have a case of cabin fever? Need to get out of the house and have some fun? Then the 'Mille Lacs Open' Indoor Golf Tournament is for you this Saturday -- taking place at various bars, restaurants, and resorts around Mlle Lacs Lake.

The Mille Lacs Open is set for this Saturday, January 14th from 10 AM to 7 PM at various locations around the lake.

It's the most fun indoor golf tournament that you can have on Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota during January!

Area businesses have come together to 'OPEN' Mille Lacs Lake for fun and laughter (and prizes). The businesses and staff are customizing 17 golf holes for a super fun crazy golf tournament on January 14th for what is known as the 'Mille Lacs Open.'

Everyone is pumped up and has their game on. Like golf, players will be required to play at least 9 holes, but may play up to 17. Playing 9 holes will qualify players for the grand prize. Costumes are highly encouraged. Take it serious or just have fun - Choice is yours!

Grand Prize: Otter Portable Fish House with accessories! Other prizes given for Best Dressed, Qualifying Score and more, plus cash prizes and door prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament.

Each business is hoping to achieve the "Best Hole" Award and they need your help. Golfers will judge each businesses' golf hole during the tournament and the crowd will judge for best costumes at the closing party. Winners will be announced during the party at Appeldoorn's starting at 6 PM.

Golfers have started signing up both individually and as teams. No worries if you are not an avid golfer. This is a FUN event and everyone is encouraged to participate. Clubs will be provided at each hole. Transportation will be provided from each location starting at 10 AM. After the final party you will be returned to your initial starting destination.

Sign up today in advance for $20 (HERE), or $25 at the door. (Must be 21 or older.)

No Walleye's have been hurt or injured in the making of this event.
